Malaysian Acoustic Guitar Guild Committee

1) To promote and popularize the Acoustic Guitar;

2) To promote greater understanding and appreciation of guitar music in particular that which is composed, transcribed or arranged for the Acoustic Guitar;

3) To organize and stage guitar concerts, competitions, camps, festivals or any other form of public or private performances;

4) To raise the standard of teaching the Acoustic Guitar;

5) To organize lectures, workshops or classes;

6) To liaise with other musical societies;

7) To liaise with relevant Ministry for the enhancement and promotion or acoustic guitar music and its derivatives;

8) To establish a library of audio/audio visual records, printed music, publications and any information pertaining to the Acoustic Guitar;

9) To promote the development and/or the production of the Acoustic Guitar in Malaysia.
